Scan an asset to filter permits - j5 - 30 - Help - Hexagon

When using Control of Work on j5 Mobile, you can quickly navigate to the permits that reference a particular asset by scanning its barcode or NFC tag.

The scanned asset needs to have its barcode or NFC tag configured in the j5 Asset Register.

is displayed in the j5 Mobile action bar when barcode and/or NFC navigation for assets has been configured.

To navigate to a permit that references a particular asset:

1. Select

2. Select Barcode or NFC.

3. Scan the barcode or NFC tag.

   • For barcodes: Point your camera at the barcode.

   • For NFC tags: Hold your device near the tap point on the asset.

   A summary view appears showing all the permits that reference the scanned asset.

4. Select the permit you want to open.
