To get to the Issued DFT state, the permitted work must have been Suspended DFT and then issued for testing when the de-isolation was complete.

The Performing Authority and Issuing Authority verify that the area has been safely de-isolated for the testing to proceed.

For hot work permits, ensure that the gas tests are up to date.

The Accept DFT window appears. Confirm the conditions are suitable for testing, sign, and select Confirm.

State change: Issued DFT > Live DFT

Select Suspend DFT - The area needs to be further prepared for testing (for example, more safety precautions need to be put in place)

User permissions: Issuing Authority

The Suspend DFT window appears. Enter a reason for the suspension, sign, and select Confirm.

State change: Issued DFT > Suspended DFT

Time trigger

If the Issued Until date is past while the permit is in the Issued DFT state.
