The following actions are available in all the Live Group states: Live, Live DFT, Overdue, and Overdue DFT.

Select Suspend - If the work needs to be suspended (for example, due to bad weather).

User permissions: Performing Authority or Issuing Authority

The Suspend window appears. Enter a reason for the suspension, sign, and select Confirm.

Select Suspend DFT - If the work needs to de-isolated for testing (the work is complete or close to complete, but it needs to be tested before they can mark it as complete).

Hot work permits may require regular gas tests
Select Record Gas Test - The Record Gas Test action button appears when a new gas test is required.

The Record Gas Test window appears. Enter the test details, sign, and select Confirm.

No state change. The permit is still in the Live state.

Select Job Incomplete - If the work can't be completed (for example, a tool is needed or another specialist needs to be called in).

The Close job as incomplete window appears. Confirm that the job site and equipment have been left in a safe condition, comment, sign (as Performing Authority), and select Confirm.
