  1. Select the Applications tab, and select Create App Integration.

  2. In the Create a New Application page, select OIDC - OpenID Connect, and select Native Application.

  3. Select Next.

    The redirect URIs must match the SmartPlant Client.NET redirect port. For more information, see Configure the SmartPlant Client.NET redirect port.

  4. After creating the new application, you can view the General Settings section. Select Edit, and enter details. See the following example:

  5. Select Save.

    In the Client Credentials section, the Client ID is generated by Okta. You cannot modify this value. This Client ID value is also used for configuring the Web Client settings.json file. For more information, see Configure the Web Client settings.json file.

  6. In the Client authentication section, select Edit > Use Client Authentication button. Select Save.

    A Client Secret value is generated for this application.

  7. In the Assignments tab, select Assign, and select Groups.

  8. Select the previously configured group, and select Assign.

SHARED Tip All log on, log out, redirect, or initiate URIs are case sensitive.
