  1. Do one of the following:

    Double-click a template from the New Session File list on the Welcome screen to display the Define Workspace Dialog.

    Click Home Tab > Define Workspace (CTRL + W) Define Workspace to display the Define Workspace Dialog.

    Click Home Tab > Select by Filters Com_Select_All to display the Select By Filters Dialog.

  2. Select the filter to edit. If you know the name of the filter, start typing that name in the Choose a Filter box.

  3. Click Create New Filter Com_Add ICON to display the Define Filter Dialog.

  4. Select the objects to include in the filter. The selected objects display in the Filter Criteria list.

    Click the tabs to select objects from multiple categories.

    Navigate to the objects to include.

    Click Delete ICON Remove to clear a single criterion.

    Click Clear All to remove all the criteria.

  5. Type a name for the filter in the Name box.

  6. If necessary, change the Filter Path location. You can type the path, navigate to the location, or search for a folder. By default, Smart 3Dx stores your filters in My Filters.
