Add an equipment component to equipment - Intergraph Smart 3D - Help - Hexagon

Selectthe equipment to modify.

Click Place Equipment Component at the bottom of the Place Equipment Controls.

Select the equipment component to place from the Select from Catalog Dialog.

The equipment component displays as a wireframe in the model. Equipment Component Controls displays. The properties of the equipment component display in the Properties view.

Position the equipment component in the model:

Click Move to specify a location.

Click Rotate to rotate the equipment component about the active axis.

Use keyboard shortcuts to quickly rotate objects and select control points.

Edit the properties of the equipment component to meet your requirements.

Complete the placement:

• Select Finish or press CTRL + ENTER to save your changes and exit the command.

• Select Finish and Modify or press CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER to save your changes, and then start the modification of that object.

• Select Finish and Repeat or press SHIFT + ENTER to save your changes, and then restart the command using the same options.
