Provides basic commands for editing objects in the work area. Parts and Nesting work areas have similar Edit bars; however, command behavior depends on the work area. This section describes the Edit command behavior in the Parts and Nesting work areas. The Edit bar is shown below.
Copy
Parts work area - Copies the selected elements to the Clipboard. The software also copies technology objects with existing profiles to the Clipboard.
Nesting work area - Moves the selected parts to the Clipboard.
Cut
Parts work area
Moves the selected elements to the Clipboard.
Nesting work area
Moves the selected parts to the Clipboard.
Paste
Parts work area
Moves contents from the Clipboard to the work area. The software attaches a preview of the elements to the cursor. Move to the location for the elements, and then click to paste the elements and release the cursor.
Nesting work area
Moves contents from the Clipboard to the work area. The software pastes the elements from the Clipboard above the original parts.
Delete
Parts work area
Deletes the selected elements.
Nesting work area
Deletes the selected parts.
Undo
Undoes the last command.
Undo list
Displays a list of recent commands. Click a command on the list to undo that command and all of the commands above it.
Redo
Repeats the last command.
Redo list
Displays a list of undone commands. Click a command on the list to redo that command and all of the commands above it.
Settings list
Displays settings for the Parts and Nesting work areas. The Parts work area contains settings for connecting elements, profiles, and defaults. The Nesting work area contains settings for collision distances, defaults, and overlap check rules.
