Creating cutting paths for bevel surfaces for a cutting machine with an adjustable angle unit differs slightly from cutting path creation for profiles with a single surface. This section covers these differences.
Setting Lead Movements for Bevels
When machine technology is set to adjustable angle unit, Cut Profiles and Leads display an additional drop-down menu. You can select a surface type from the menu. Each surface type has its own lead movement definitions.
Creating Cutting Paths for Bevels
Use Cut Profiles to create cutting paths for bevel surfaces. When you click a bevel profile to add a cutting path to it, a preview image displays in another window. Select the surface for the cutting path using the preview image (see below).
Similar windows display when you insert leads using Leads or insert ridges using Ridge.
If you create the cutting paths automatically, use the options on the Cut All drop-down menu (see below) to select the bevel surfaces for the cutting path.
