There are three silent workflow templates delivered through Smart Community that you can use to process the job data without any user interaction, warnings, or errors. They are:

The VTLSilentJobCreationScheduler scheduler is delivered with silent workflows and has a minimum polling interval of 30 minutes. The scheduler includes the Control files location property, which contains the file path to the Control Files folder. It looks into the control files folder every 30 minutes and processes new control files.

Administrators can change the polling value and properties defined on the scheduler using the Update form. However, the polling value cannot be less than the default value of 1800000 milliseconds or 30 minutes.

To enable the silent job process to continue when an import definition specified in the control file is not associated with any job definition, administrators can select the Allow import definitions missing in the job definition option in the scheduler update form. The job is processed after logging a warning in the control file. If this check box is not available in the update form, the VTLSilentJob.xmlldr file must be loaded again using the Loader in Desktop Client.
