When should I use the New Rules Prefix option?

The New Rules Prefix option is available only when you are copying a master rule set. MSR and HEX prefixes cannot be used for creating new rulesets when you are copying a master ruleset. Specify a prefix while copying the master ruleset to create new copies with the prefix.

  1. In RuleSets list, select the rule set you want to copy.

  2. Click Copy the RuleSet on the RuleSets toolbar.

  3. Provide the name for the new ruleset in the New RuleSet Name box.

  4. Provide the prefix for the new rules in the New Rules Prefix box.

    SHARED Tip This option is available only when you are copying an MSR ruleset.

  5. Click Save.
