The SPFMapFunctionDef ClassDef is a definition of a map function that can be called during the consolidation process. The only instance of the SPFMapFunctionDef ClassDef in the configuration is SPFClassificationFromTyping. This map function converts the typing enumerations used in SmartPlant Integration to the classification relations used in SmartPlant Foundation.
The MappingToSPFMapFunction RelDef is a relation between any of the above mappings and a map function. The end 1 interface is IMapRel, allowing ClassDef, InterfaceDef, PropertyDef, and RelDef mappings to have map function. However, all instances of this relation in the configuration provided are PropertyDef mappings.
This map function also adds CDW tags with relation to the classification tag type in the Tag types tree, as shown in the following figure:
