Edit Manufacturers and Models in a Spec - Intergraph Smart Instrumentation - Help

Use this procedure to edit the instrument manufacturer and model in a spec. With a spec open, you can display the instrument manufacturer supporting table and define the manufacturers and models as you require.

1. Open a spec.

2. Select Actions > Instrument Models .

3. To add or change a manufacturer, in the Instrument Manufacturers dialog, under Manufacturer, select a manufacturer from the list or select to add a new manufacturer.

4. To change the instrument model, in the data window of the dialog, select the new model.

5. To add a new model for the current manufacturer, do the following:

   1. In the Instrument Manufacturers dialog, select New to add a new data row.

   2. Type the instrument model values in the appropriate boxes, and select the process function.

   3. Select OK.

   The software automatically copies the defined instrument manufacturer and model to the appropriate fields in the current spec.

6. Save the specification.
